I'm getting ready to do some re-branding/design change stuff. I'm going to do an archive of the out dated epicserve.com and merge it into OPOS. I've wanted to re-design epicserve.com for a long time, but just haven't found the time. I'm not going to do it right either, meaning I'm not going to make a development site for it and then do a reveal. I'm going to copy Jeff Croft and do a Live update! So for the two people that read my site things might be a little broked.
I'm probably not going to re-do my backend yet and I'll continue to use my own home built blog system. Hey it works... does what I need.
I think I'll delete my photo section that uses some old photo management stuff I wrote and just pimp the site out using Flickr like every other 1337 bloger. I'm a little late getting on the band wagon and by the time I get it done it will be something else. Oh well...
I'm going to start writing less formally and just not give a crap about my grammer and spelling as much, so I can get more content out the door. I might decide to give a crap about that stuff on occasion. Things are about to go messy!
Note to the two readers that might not have deleted me out of their feed. I'm will do some nice mod_rewrite stuff so you won't have to update the feed link so that probably won't break. Permalinks will also stay the same and that will be easy with my crappy blog software I wrote because I at least thought of that stuff so it was extensible.
Then maybe when I get more time and have learned python/django better I might throw in some of that in the backend. Oh and I might just rip off Jeff's stuff because he's my hero!!! Maybe I should do a parody of his site! That would be sweet and since his a pimp man metro poser he would secretly love the attention!
