Good Web Framework Overview

March 01, 2006 | 4:55pm CST

A friend of mine sent me a link to a video that he said I should watch. I was skeptical since what he usually sends me sucks! :) This time it turned out to be something good. The video does a good basic overview comparing Rails, Zope, Turbo Gears, Django and JBoss.

My personal conclusion after watching the video: Rails + 0, Zope - 30 (Manily because it looks silly to me), Turbo Gears + 0, Django + 1, JBoss / J2EE -- 1000.

It would have been interesting to see him add in a PHP based framework for comparison, like Mojavi, Symfony or CakePHP.
